Your refund check is coming — Watch out

Tax Day has passed, which means you're likely waiting for your refund to arrive. This typically takes about three weeks if you filed electronically. Keep in mind that now is the time scammers try to steal tax refunds from taxpayers. They often do this by pretending to be IRS agents calling and demanding refunds be sent to them because it's supposedly in error. Luckily, you can track your refund using the IRS refund status tool.

As a reminder, the IRS will never call and demand that you send back a refund.
