Pennsylvania Voluntary Disclosure Program

DiSabatino, CPA helps individuals and business throughout the US.  For those clients that may have tax liabilities to the State of Pennsylvania, this may be of interest.

I have been advised that the Pennsylvania Voluntary Disclosure Program will be reinstituted effective August 1, 2010. The department will be updating its website with additional information in the near future.

The Voluntary Disclosure Program's purpose is to provide an opportunity for businesses and individuals who have recently become aware of their Pennsylvania tax obligations to voluntarily come forward and meet their obligations. It is not available to registered delinquent taxpayer. There are different rules for participation for non-corporate taxes and corporation taxes.

If you believe you may need assistance in filing a Pennsylvania tax return, call our office (805.389.7300) and allow us to help you.
